Utilities work underway in downtown Lethbridge

Excavation work disrupts downtown Lethbridge this week

Excavation work in downtown Lethbridge may be affecting drivers and pedestrians this week.

The work began on Wednesday (Mar. 11).

The City of Lethbridge says the following closures are in place:

• The westbound driving lane in the 700 block of 2 Avenue South.
• A sidewalk on the south side of the 700 block of 2 Avenue South.
• A sidewalk on the west side of the 200 block of 8 Street South.
• Nine parking stalls on the north side of the 700 block of 2 Avenue South.

Work is expected to be completed by Friday (Mar. 13), depending on weather conditions.
