Lethbridge Police have charged a 42-year-old male and 38-year-old female after $50,000 worth of merchandise was stolen during a break-in at a local business.

On Dec. 23, 2025 during the early morning hours, LPS says two male subjects broke into Memory Express along the 1600 block of Mayor Magrath Drive South by cutting and prying open the roll shutters.

According to police, approximately $50,000 worth of equipment, including processors, motherboards and laptops, was stolen before the subjects left in a white BMW operated by a female subject.

As a result of extensive follow-up investigation by members of the Property Crimes Unit, LPS says warrants were issued for two subjects who were ultimately located and arrested in Lloydminster on March 10 with the assistance of RCMP.

Police say the suspects were found inside the white BMW associated to the Memory Express break-in. Efforts to locate and arrest a third suspect are ongoing and police have not recovered the stolen property.

LPS says the suspects are each charged with break and enter other than a dwelling house. Both were remanded in custody to appear in court in Lloydminster on March 12, 2026.
