Youths in the Lethbridge area can learn hands-on from local collegiate athletes.

The University of Lethbridge Pronghorns, in partnership with Building Safer Communities, is hosting a free basketball camp for people aged 12-17.

The two-hour camp is led by Pronghorns athletes.

It is part of the Off the Record program, a youth-focused effort that helps young people build positive relationships with first responders in Lethbridge.

“The goal is to support youth early, strengthen our community and help prevent problems before they start,” reads a notice from the City of Lethbridge.

The camp takes place on Mar. 28, 2026, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the U of L’s Co-op Centre for Sports & Wellness.

To sign up, complete this fillable registration form and email it to buildingsafercommunities@lethbridge.ca.
