Wind warnings in place across southern Alberta
Environment Canada has issued a yellow warning for wind for all of southern Alberta on Tuesday morning.
In the west, the area that includes the Crowsnest Pass, Pincher Creek, Cardston, Lethbridge, Taber, and Milk River can expect strong winds that may cause damage.
Westerly winds gusting to 100 km/h will diminish Tuesday evening.
In the east, the Medicine Hat area from Burdett to the Saskatchewan border, and south to the United States border, can expect west winds reaching up to 90 km/h.
