Tourism Day at the 2026 Southern Alberta Economic and Tourism Summit

The Southern Alberta Economic Summit will now include a day dedicated to discussing tourism in the region.
Tourism Lethbridge has partnered with SouthGrow Regional Initiatives to expand the summit to include Tourism Day in recognition of tourism as a key driver of economic development.
The event will bring together municipal leaders, tourism operators, economic development professionals, and industry organizations to explore how tourism supports regional growth, investment, and collaboration.
Multiple speakers and panels are planned throughout the day, including insights from Travel Alberta, perspectives from the Tourism Industry Association of Alberta, a discussion on Indigenous tourism, and panels highlighting regional initiatives like Savour Alberta’s South.
