Mar 27, 2026 | 3:35 PM

Three new exhibitions are set to open at the Gallery at Casa on Saturday, March 28, with a reception from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The exhibitions, which run until May 29, include Retrieval, a University of Lethbridge show focused on memory and recollection.

The gallery says the exhibition showcases work by 16 emerging artists.

Also opening in the Saokitapi Gallery is Kamotáán (Survival) by Siksika Nation artist Darren Weaselchild.

A Red Seal journeyman painter, Weaselchild’s work blends Blackfoot teachings with themes of community healing and youth mentorship.

In the Concourse Gallery, In The Meantime, organized by the Alberta Society of Artists, explores themes of transition and stillness.

The Gallery at Casa is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
