Brooks RCMP investigating after stolen truck slams into jewellery store

Brooks RCMP are investigating after a stolen truck slammed into a storefront early Monday morning.

Mounties were dispatched to the collision on Second Street West at about 4:29 am. on March 30.

Officers arrived to find that an abandoned black Ford F-150 truck had been driven into the front of Hicks Jewellery Store.

Police believe that the occupants may have been picked up by another vehicle as they fled the scene.

Further investigation revealed that the truck was stolen recently from Calgary.
