RCMP advise of delays for westbound traffic on the Trans-Canada Highway near Brooks

The Brooks RCMP issued an advisory for motorists of significant traffic delays affecting the westbound lanes on Highway 1 on Monday morning.

Mounties stated that harsh road conditions are impacting travel in the area, and it’s leading to slower traffic flow and potential hazards for drivers.

They are urging motorists to use caution and allow for extra travel time.

The Brooks RCMP also strongly recommends avoiding non-essential travel.

Motorists are encouraged to follow Alberta 511 for the latest updates on road conditions and closures.
