Water work impacting 1800 block of 5 Avenue North

Officials with the City of Lethbridge say new water service installation is impacting a small portion of a busy roadway.

Effective immediately, 5 Avenue North is closed between 18 Street and 19 Street North.

Detours are in place for eastbound and westbound traffic.

The city says the work is scheduled to be complete on April 30, weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution and follow all posted signage.
