Tourism Lethbridge shares findings from 2025 report

Tourism Lethbridge has released a report showcasing some of their successes and struggles from 2025.

The report notes that while visitor spending remains relatively stable, only dipping down 0.7 per cent compared to 2024, total trips to Lethbridge rose by 9.5 per cent.

Hotel occupancy in 2025 ticked down slightly to 58.1 per cent, compared to 61.4 per cent in the same time frame in 2024, while the total average daily rate went up to $131.59 compared to $127.13 the year previous.

In 2025, Lethbridge generated roughly $14 million from events supported by Tourism Lethbridge; a total of 587,862 people attended, including 83,536 from out of town.

The Tourism Lethbridge website also saw an increase in traffic, as 77 per cent came from visitors outside of Lethbridge in 2025, 2.7 percent up from 2024.

Around 7,300 international visitors from countries other than the United States visited Lethbridge in 2025, a 9.4 per cent increase from 2024, while American visitors went down by 5.7 per cent compared to 2024.

Lethbridge also managed to gain more media attention in 2025, with a total of 352 media mentions reaching over 333,900,000.

As part of their current four-year plan, Tourism Lethbridge has aligned its focus with 4 key pillars: be a good host, be a good ally, tell a good story, and do good work.
