Canadian Grand Slam of Baseball Showcase and Festival coming to Lethbridge
The Canadian Grand Slam of Baseball Showcase and Festival is coming to Lethbridge.
The ten-day spotlight, a joint venture between the Bulls baseball club, the City, Lethbridge Tourism, and the Sport Council, takes place from May 21-30, and Bulls’ president and CEO Kevin Kvame couldn’t be happier.
“This isn’t about one team or one moment — it’s about generations of players, families, fans, and volunteers who have built baseball in our community since 1885,” added Kvame.“This belongs to the community and has always been built by people who care about the game and each other.”
The event will not only feature top calibre baseball including the CCBC World Series and Prairie Qualifier, a Little League jamboree, and the first two home games of the season for the Bulls on the 28th and 29th, but live music, food trucks, and a family festival.
