Lelhbridge judge to receive U of L distinction later this month

A former Lethbridge lawyer, now provincial court judge, is being recognized by the University of Lethbridge.
Justice Derek Redman will be given an honorary Doctor of Laws degree at the post-secondary institute’s convocation ceremony May 29th.
Described as a distinguished jurist, the Winston Churchill High School graduate also has a standing in the community as an author, athlete, advocate, and educator.
U of L chancellor Terry Whitehead considers Justice Redman a pillar of the Alberta justice system committed to fairness, accessibility and innovation.
