Chinook Sexual Assault Centre to hold one-day conference next week

The Chinook Sexual Assault Centre in Lethbridge is holding a one-day event on Friday of next week.

Billed as the Believe and Transform Conference, it’s meant to spark community conversation on a subject many feel uncomfortable talking about.

Included on the day are interactive sessions on finding solutions to such issues as sexual exploitation and its impact to society.

Along the same lines, RCMP Corporal Heather Bangle from the Southern Alberta Internet Child Exploitation Unit, or ICE, will speak about the growing problem of on-line abuse and bullying.
