Canada's highest elevation point of entry
Chief Mountain seasonal border crossing to open May 15

One of the most scenic Alberta border crossings will open for the summer season next week.
Located south of Waterton National Park, the Chief Mountain port of entry has the highest elevation among crossings in Canada at 5,649 feet.
Last year, close to 56,000 travellers used the crossing between our province and Montana during its opening from May until September.
Starting next Friday, Canada Border Service agents will, again, in place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
