Canmore RCMP seeking dashcam footage after death on Hwy 1

Police are seeking dashcam footage following a death on the highway near Canmore.

On May 11, at 12:23 a.m., Canmore RCMP received a call from a motorist who was driving on Highway 1, between Exits 89 and 86. The driver reported a body on the highway.

Officers attended and located a deceased person, they say. After an autopsy at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Calgary, it was determined that the deceased was a 24-year-old male resident of Canmore.
