First-ever garage sale for Lethbridge’s Second Door Friday and Saturday

Thanks to all the generous donations in the past, the Second Door Thrift Store in Lethbridge is, literally, bursting at the seams.

To help with that, they’ve decided to hold their first-ever garage sale Friday and Saturday.

Danielle McIntyre is the executive director at the Interfaith Food Bank Society and says the overflow items will set up for sale in the group’s community kitchen.

“It (thrift store) regularly generates funding that goes into our programs and services but this weekend, for the first time, we are actually having a garage sale in our kitchen that will feature a lot of the items that would normally being going for sale in that thrift store.”
