A small group of Lethbridge high school students will be at the University of Lethbridge Friday learning new skills from the Dhillon School of Business.

Heather Harty, the Manager of Community Partnerships and Student Engagment, adds the day will cover the different aspects of business, including being an entrepreneur.

“They’re going to have the chance to be the CEO of their own business in a virtual business simulation where they’ll be making decisions like a real company would,” Harty explained.

“How much product to invest. What price to sell it at and all kinds of fun things around business practices.”

The six-hour session, held annually, will also provide the grade 9, 10, and 11 students the chance to gain first-hand knowledge from former students in the areas of human resources, marketing, accounting, and finance.
