Graduation ceremonies set for this week at University of Lethbridge

The final touches are being put on this year’s convocation ceremonies at the University of Lethbridge, and it’s a record-setting graduating class.

1,638 students will receive a degree, diploma, or certificate, while others, including some members from the community-at-large, will be recognized with an award or honorary degree.

Four separate ceremonies will be held Thursday and Friday at the U of L’s Co-op Centre for Sport & Wellness, beginning at 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. each day.

All four sessions, the university says, will feature an address from an honorary degree recipient.
