Fort Macleod looks to address feral and stray cat population with new project, survey
Jun 7, 2026 | 7:01 AM
The Town of Fort Macleod is asking its residents to complete an online survey it hopes will help address the feral and stray population in the community.
Recently, Town Council passed a Community Cat Trap, Neuter, and Return pilot program it calls a balance between animal welfare and community needs.
The one-question survey, which closes on Sunday, June 14th, asks respondents to list the top three locations where they’ve seen stray and feral cats and, where possible, snap a photo.
A pop-up of the survey appears on your computer screen when you log onto the Town’s website: https://www.fortmacleod.com/.
