Two teens caught for street racing along a section of Mayor Magrath Drive South Friday evening are scheduled to appear in court on July 8th.

Lethbridge Police say the pair, one in a truck, the other in a sedan, overtook both lanes of traffic during the race, over a, roughly, six-block stretch.

A 16 and 17 year-old each face a charge of dangerous driving and were given tickets for careless driving and speeding.

The driver of the truck also received an added charge of stunting, after he did a brake stand at one of the lights, which initially caught the attention of the LPS officer.
