Planned power outage northwest of Henderson Lake in Lethbridge for much of Tuesday

A ‘heads up’ from the City of Lethbridge on a planned power outage Tuesday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. northwest of Henderson Lake.

Roughly, 130 customers will be without electricity in an area between 6th Avenue South and Crowsnest Trail, and from 25th to 27th Street South.

Crews will be upgrading overhead power lines, so there could be some traffic delays, as well.

The City is reminding you that no power also means no traffic lights, so four-way stop rules are in play and things like garage door openers won’t work, but please, if you put your vehicle outside, to make sure to do it outside of the outage area, so workers have power pole access.
