Chinook Sexual Assault Centre rebrands to Aurora Centre

A longstanding organization in the Bridge City has undergone a name change. 

The Chinook Sexual Assault Centre will now be known as the Aurora Centre.

During a name unveiling Monday, board chair Cayley King said the group was looking for a brand that better reflected the breadth of their work and vision for the future. 

Since opening in 2019, the centre has added a child and youth advocacy centre, specialized clinical services, and public education programs.
