City of Lethbridge lifts Boating Advisory for Oldman River; conditions improving

With streamflows easing on the Oldman River in recent days, an earlier boating advisory issued by Lethbridge’s fire chief has now been lifted.

In a release from the City yesterday, it said that river flow rates have decreased and conditions have improved since the June 2nd warning was imposed.

However, with the possibility of quickly-changing river conditions, Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services is recommending you check out the Alberta Rivers website before heading out.
