Expect delays around Scenic Drive & Whoop-Up Drive as major construction begins

Get ready for some big gridlock around the area of Scenic Drive and Whoop-Up Drive in Lethbridge for at least the next five months.

To start, upgrades are scheduled on the northbound and southbound lanes of Scenic Drive from 2nd Avenue South to Whoop-Up.

Improvements will include new signals, a multi-use pathway, and updated pedestrian crossings.

Traffic control personnel will also be on scene to help keep things moving smoothly.
