Road closures and detours for Pride Parade Saturday

The annual Pride Parade returns to downtown Lethbridge this Saturday, June 20. City officials note, the route and road closures are the same as last year. 

The parade begins at 11 a.m. on Stafford Drive South, next to the Civic Ice Centre, and will travel downtown, ending on 5 Street South along the west side of Galt Gardens. 

To accommodate the event, the following roads along the parade route will be closed starting at 9:30 a.m. and are expected to reopen at approximately 1 p.m.: 

• Stafford Drive South, from 3 Avenue to 6 Avenue
• 3 Avenue South, from 5 Street to Stafford Drive
• 5 Street South, from 2 Avenue to 3 Avenue
