New five-year strategic plan put forward by Town of Raymond Council

Hoping to keep its small town character, but looking to the future, the Town of Raymond has come up with a five-year strategic plan. 

Mayor Bryce Coppieters says the template takes a number of factors into account including responsible growth and improving existing services. 

“If there are ways we can improve our community and help to attract young families. Add to our non-residential business growth and just looking to create a better environment for people that live in Raymond. Having things ready to go and we talk about having projects that are shovel ready.”

Coppieters says work on the town’s road map began back in January and will be a guide for town council when making decisions moving forward.
