New principal named to lead Lethbridge Collegiate Institute into 2026/27 school year

Lethbridge Collegiate Institute will have a new principal come this Fall. 

Rod Scott has be named as the new head of the high school, after having stints as vice-principal at Lethbridge Alternative Schools and Victoria Park High. 

He’s also coming ‘full circle’ with LCI, beginning there as a teacher and doing a one-year term as acting vice-principal at the school in 2010. 

While he says his last two postings have been incredibly meaningful and he’ll miss the students, staff, and families, he’s looking forward to his new challenge, as well.
