The Lethbridge Bulls are the hottest team in the Western Canadian Baseball League, earning their 7th and 8th wins in a row in a doubleheader over Fort McMurray on Canada Day at Spitz Stadium.

The Bulls took the first game 14-9, scoring four runs in both the second and eighth innings, before beating the Giants 13-3 in the nightcap.

Lethbridge improves to 18-and-5 and leads the West Division by a-half-game, based on winning percentage, and has five games in hand on second-place Okotoks.

They return to the field Friday night with a home game against Medicine Hat.
