Public water stations, spray parks now open

City of Lethbridge suggests places to ‘cool off’ as temperatures climb into the 30’s

With the hot weather now here, and forecast to last into next week, the City of Lethbridge wants you to know there are places you can go to cool down or stay out of the heat, and some are free.

Public water stations have been set up at Nicholas Sheran, Legacy, and Henderson Lake parks, and Galt Gardens downtown.

Also the spray parks at Legacy and Nicholas Sheran are another option to consider, as is the public library, during the day.

In fact, all City of Lethbridge facilities are open to the public, during operating hours, to get away from the blazing sun.
