County tries out new dust suppression method ahead of new fall program

Lethbridge County crews have begun testing a new dust suppression method on a section of road near Stafford Lake Estates. 

The one-kilometre stretch is on Township Road 92, east of Highway 512 and is part of a trial meant to extend suppression times. 

Instead of just applying product to the surface, the new way mixes it deeper into the road structure. 

The goal is to have a road that holds up better over time, with less dust, less rutting, and less need for regular grading.
