Lethbridge County issues fire restrictions with continued heat forecast, lack of moisture

With forecasted hot temperatures to continue and a lack of moisture, particularly overnight, Lethbridge County has moved forward on imposing fire restrictions.
Any and all active burn and fireworks permits have now been cancelled, until further notice.
Also not being allowed are controlled burns, burn pits, yard waste, or large debris fires.
What is still being permitted are recreational campfires in approved fire pits, charcoal briquette barbecues, and wood pellet grills.
