Levels, flow rates down considerably
Boating advisories for Oldman, St. Mary rivers cancelled by City of Lethbridge

After a drop in river levels and flow rates, Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services has decided to lift boating advisories for both the Oldman and St. Mary rivers…
It says the conditions we saw at the start of July have eased to safe levels and it’s now okay to be on and around the rivers.
If you plan on doing any swimming, however, keep in mind water temperatures are still cold and the rivers still might be murky, in spots.
The City of Lethbridge is also suggesting anyone planning on floating or boating, to make sure they’re wearing a proper floatation device, like a life jacket.
