Fundraising for playground equipment project in Moon River close, but not there

A group of residents from the Hamlet of Moon River, near Lethbridge, are in the process of replacing their aging community playground.

Rebecca Foss is one of the residents behind the project.

“We found a second-hand playground from BDI in Lethbridge for $6,000. It came from a previous school,” Foss explains.

“So, we had a $20,000 goal to raise, but we’re short $3000 at the moment.”
