Water Quality Advisory in place for Golden Sheaf Park in the County of Forty Mile

Alberta Health Services has issued a Water Quality Advisory for Golden Sheaf Park in the County of Forty Mile.

It made the move after it found elevated levels of bacteria in Rattlesnake Lake along the park’s beach.

At its current levels, AHS believes it poses a risk of gastrointestinal illness if the water is ingested.

It may also cause possible skin, ear, or eye irritation or infections on contact.
