Firefighters gain quick upper hand on commercial building blaze Monday afternoon

Fire investigators are looking into just what might have caused a fire in the Upper Eastside neighbourhood of Lethbridge this afternoon. 

24 firefighters from four stations were called out to the rear of a commercial building in the 1400-block of 2nd Avenue South at around 1 p.m.

Crews were able to quickly get the upper hand preventing the flames from spreading into the building or nearby structures.

Lethbridge Fire & Emergency Services report there were no injuries to anyone.
