Lethbridge Police charge teen after late night attack on man at northside park
Lethbridge Police say they’ve charged a 14-year-old boy with aggravated assault after a 19-year-old man was attacked and injured at a northside park just after midnight, July 23rd.
An investigation by police revealed the teen and another individual, both wearing masks, approached the adult male, who was part of a larger group.
At some point, the man was attacked with a knife and taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
While they cordoned off the park shortly after the incident, LPS wasn’t able to locate the 14-year-old until the next day, on the 24th.
