More pedestrian detours in coming days around Scenic Drive/Whoop-Up Drive project

Expect more changes, starting Tuesday morning and for a couple of weeks, if you walk to and from work around Whoop-Up and Scenic Drive South. 

As part of the ongoing interchange improvement project, the crosswalk at southbound Scenic Drive onto westbound Whoop-Up Drive will be closed.

The pedestrian pathway along Scenic, from 4th Street South all the way to the crosswalk, will also be shut down to pedestrians. 

The City of Lethbridge says signage will be in place throughout the area to guide ‘two-footed traffic’ around the closure zone.
