Environment & Climate Change Canada has expanded the coverage area for rainfall warnings to include areas of High River and Claresholm and north of Vulcan. The new forecast is for between 30 and 60 millimetres of rain by Friday.

It certainly looks like parts of southern Alberta are receiving some much-needed rain, and with that, a Yellow Alert Rainfall Warning from Environment & Climate Change Canada was issued Thursday morning for the southern half of the Foothills extending from the U.S. border north to Canmore and east to Calgary, but does not include the City of Calgary.
