Southern Alberta Art Gallery in Lethbridge undergoes $7.7 million changes and upgrades

The Southern Alberta Art Gallery is preparing for an estimated $7.7 million facelift as it looks to grow the facility and, with it, some significant upgrades.

Executive director Su Ying Strang says the entire staff is excited to see what the gallery will look like once all the work is complete.

“This project has been along time in the making,” said Strang.

“…with many staff, volunteer leadership on our board and our partners at the City of Lethbridge. The team has put together a pretty good, strong timeline to get this done by May 2028, looking to re-open in the Spring of 2028.”
