City of Lethbridge lifts River Valley fire ban while County ends its fire restriction

All the rain we received over the long weekend has led to the City of Lethbridge deciding to lift its fire ban for the River Valley, effective immediately.  

In a statement Tuesday morning, Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services said it will continue to monitor weather and wind conditions.

Residents and visitors are reminded that things can change quickly and to still continue using caution when having any outdoor fire.

LFES strongly recommends that you never have a fire if winds or wind gusts are 30 kilometres-an-hour or higher.
