Raymond, LCI in top 5 in 5A Division

Local high schools make first Top 10 rankings of the new season

The first Football Alberta High School Top 10 rankings of the season are out, and a couple of local schools are in the mix. 

The Raymond Comets are in 3rd place among 5A division teams, but were beaten in their opening match-up against Star Valley, Wyoming 42-22. 

Lethbridge Collegiate Rams are one spot back, after dropping Riverton, Wyoming 21-16 in their first test of the season. 

LCI and Raymond will play one another this coming Friday night, 7:30, at U of L Community Stadium. 

Meantime, Catholic Central from Lethbridge are in 5th place in the 4A Divison after edging out unranked Centennial 22-21 in their opening match.
