Hospital foundation thanks donors, Province for funding of cardiac care centre

A thank you celebration yesterday at the Chinook Regional Hospital, ahead of the building of a new cardiac care centre for the region.
And, the event, put on by the hospital foundation and Southern Alberta Cardiac Sciences Cabinet, was well-attended.
Foundation CEO Crystal Elliott thanked the long list of donors who, through their generosity, turned a belief into real progress.
That included $32 million from businesses and individuals, and $320-million from the Province for the new centre and upgrades to the ICU ward.
