Fundraising walk in memory of Bruce Thurston planned for next month at Henderson Lake

A date has been chosen for the first-ever Bruce Thurston Stride for Success fundraising walk.

The all-ages event will take place Saturday, October 3rd at Henderson Lake Park in Lethbridge, beginning at 9 a.m.

Proceeds from the event will go towards the Bringing Hearts Home campaign for a new cardiac care centre at Chinook Regional Hospital. 

Bruce, who passed away just prior to last Christmas, was known in the community as a business mentor, including his tenure at the Dhillon School of Business.
