Coutts border guards make two large-scale seizures from commercial truckers

Canada Border Services Agency agents at the Coutts border crossing made two major drug busts on commercial trucks entering Canada in late July. 

On the 26th, officers were able to intercept close to 90 kilos of cocaine from a vehicle coming into our country; the driver and passenger arrested.

Five days later, on the 31st, CBSA seized 107 bricks of cocaine and another 124 kilograms of what they also believed was cocaine. 

Combined, the agency says that’s about 215 kilos of suspected drugs that didn’t make its way into the illegal drug trade.
