Latest poll shows support for Alberta premier remaining just below 40 per cent
A new poll released Wednesday by the Angus Reid Institute is showing that support for Alberta’s premier has slipped slightly from earlier in the year.
According to the survey, 38 per cent of those polled give Danielle Smith a positive mark when it comes to her performance, down from June’s 39.
On the flip side, 56 percent of respondents felt she wasn’t doing good job, with 43 per cent indicating a strong disapproval.
Since December 2022, the premier’s approval rating has hovered in the mid to low 40s in percentage points, only spiking once.
