U of L introduces Bachelor of Engineering degree program to begin Fall 2027

Citing a critical need for engineers, the University of Lethbridge is bringing in a Bachelor of Engineering degree program beginning in the Fall of next year.

“It’s an integrated engineering program which is really targetted at smaller urban centres and municipalities, filling a huge gap in the engineering workplace,” said the U of L’s vice-president for research, Dena McMartin. 

Right now, there are only two existing engineering degree programs in the province – the University of Calgary and University of Alberta.
