Second open house set for discussion on Willow Creek’s municipal development plan

A second open house goes Thursday in Fort Macleod to discuss and gather input on the MD of Willow’s Creek municipal development plan. 

While protecting agricultural land is top of mind, Council is also looking into where it can grow, as a community. 

“Subdivisions are one thing people always ask about, so, we’re looking, again, at subdivisions,” said Reeve Maryanne Sandberg during the first open house in Stavely on Monday evening.

“We’re looking at any kind of industrial growth. We have Granum, now, and we also have the airport at Claresholm that can be developed as industrial spots for that kind of industry.
