U of L soccer, rugby teams part of yearly sports tripleheader at Community Stadium

The U of L Pronghorns mens soccer club play their first home game of the season Saturday afternoon against the University of Alberta Golden Bears. 

“They’ve not lost a game this year yet. They’re sitting top of our division in the Canada West conference,” said head coach Chris McKaig Thursday.

“So, they’re as tough as it gets as an opponent, however, we can take some solace that, since I’ve been here at the university, we haven’t lost to them yet.”

The game is part of the annual Pronghorns tripleheader with the womens soccer team playing at 2 p.m. against Manitoba; the men follow at 4.
