Alberta Minister Grant Hunter in New York this week for Climate Week NYC

Alberta Minister of Environment and Protected Areas Grant Hunter is in New York City at Climate Week NYC from Sept. 21 to 25.

While there, he’ll promote Alberta’s approach to responsible energy development and emissions reduction.

He will also participate in meetings and events focused on emissions reduction, technology, energy innovation and investment.

“Alberta is showing the world that economic growth and emissions reductions can go hand in hand,” said Grant Hunter, Minister of Environment and Protected Areas, in a media release. “We are reducing emissions, attracting investment and creating jobs while responsibly developing our natural resources. Climate Week is an opportunity to share Alberta’s story, learn from others and build partnerships that will help drive innovation, economic growth and environmental progress for years to come.”
