Lethbridge fire crews respond to two separate blazes in less than 12 hours

Fire investigators in Lethbridge are looking into two separate blazes less than 12 hours apart.

The first, at around 4 p.m. Sunday, occurred in the rear of a home in the 1800 block of 4th Avenue North, severely damaging one of the bedrooms.

Crews from three stations were able to knock down the fire before it could spread to other rooms.

And, just before 1 a.m. Monday morning, firefighters were called out to a blaze inside a garage in the 500 block of Columbia Boulevard West.
